Clan Hell's Horses Highlander IIC

Here's some more N-scale lovin'...and finally, an Elfbait model! Here's a Highlander IIC.  I added some washers to the shoulders to increase the presence, straightened out the gauss rifle barrel, and added a guitar string to the gauss rifle.

When I was trying to figure out how to paint this guy a friend of mine said "There is only one Hell's Horses paint scheme: black w/ flames," so that's what I went for. As always, logos are all hand-painted.

More N-scale Nova Cats

I've been working on more "N-scale" models. These aren't anything fancy, just a couple MWDA repaints. I've always liked the Mad Cat III and the Crimson Hawk from MWDA. The Mad Cat has been reposed slightly, but otherwise these are stock (other than a pain in the but clean-up job).

Let's try that again...

I was rather unsatisfied with the T-wolf in the previous post, so I juiced him up a little bit.  I added some weathering and more contrast w/ the panels to help make this thing feel more like a war machine.  Let me know what you think, the "unmolested" images are in the last post for comparison.

N-scale Clan Wolf-in-Exile Timber Wolf

I finally got some down time after my Internal Medicine rotation, so I got some work done on this guy.  I modded the arm lasers and the torso weapons with some extra parts for better detail.  The WiE logo is hand painted.  I'm not quite finished with this yet.  I'm thinking of adding some weathering to give it a little extra character.  Any other suggestions?

C&C appreciated!

Hungy like a wolf!

Here's an N-scale Tundra Wolf.  This has been slightly modified from the original MWDA figure.  I couldn't stand the bubble cockpit on the original, so I resculpted the head.  I made some minor modifications to the torso to cover some of the vents, that way it didn't look like an air-conditioner on legs.  I added a targeting sensor to the left arm missile launcher.

Big Update!

I finished my first round of USMLE boards for medical school, and I celebrated by getting the finishing touches done on a few projects.  I've gotten into N-scale Battletech, and the first two figures are re-purposed MWDA figures that I cleaned up and put on a proper base.  They're painted up in a Clan Nova Cat scheme that I've been working on.

Clan Nova Cat Solitaire:

Here is the unit commander, a Nova Cat:

Next is a figure that I had been working on, on-and-off, for over a year.  This guy spent a lot of time on my desk occasionally getting a little paint here and there.  I finally got to it and finished him.  This isn't a canon Iyanden Craftworld paint-scheme, but rather something I came up with for "funsies."

I picked up a big chunk of Malifeux figures over Christmas break...I've got to say I really like the sculpts!  This is Lady Justice, the rest of the gang will be finished soon!

As always, C&C appreciated!

Custom W40K "Commander Farsight"

This project is a few months old, but I thought I'd post it anyway.  Here is a Games Workshop W40K Tau Battlesuit, "Commander Farsight."  A lot of the suit has been modified/customized to change the appearance from the relatively stiff stock model.

Criticism and comments welcome!
